Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. (1 Peter 1:23)

‘Being born again’ is the most important event to Christian, because all people is born with a flesh while the soul is in a death. The difference between Christianity and other religions is the truth about this ‘being born again’. Religions attempt to arrive at the kingdom of heaven through the cultivation of the flesh, but Christianity say that we have to get the salvation of soul because the flesh go back to soil.

Then, how is our being born again possible? Of course, the answer isn’t easy. We can get a salvation by confessing our sin, believing the fact that Jesus Christ died and resurrected for us, and welcoming him. So, we summarize kernel contents, and sow the good seed. Also, we demand a reception pray or a confession to make sure one’s reception. All this is the most traditional way used to preach the Word. It might be the most effective way for evangelization.

However, more important thing we must think is that the words is compared to a seed. A seed can’t bear fruit of itself. It can fructify when it is sown. We can observe in Bible that this seed is the word of the Lord. The word of the Lord can’t change a man of itself. When it is sown in one’s mind, it can bear fruit.

The truth in the world undergoes a change. It change in quality and become worthless thing in the course of time, but the word of the Lord is eternal. It is indefectible forever. It is alive, and exists for ever and ever. People will experience being born again by these words. The being born again can’t be gotten simply by listening. In other words, a fine sermon and the words of God can’t make one born again by it. He must recognize a fact that he is a sinner, and receive the word of the Lord deep down in the heart. Then, he will experience a new life and get to know the glory of heaven. Please sow a indefectible seed, ‘the word of the Lord’.
