Jesus is God. It was a preposterous determination that he came to this world for our sins. He, is God, needed not to come to this world obstinately, disgrace himself, and even be killed off. Nevertheless, he did it. We need to pay attention to a fact that he came personally.
‘Coming personally’ means that he decided by his free will without anyone’s approval. Even if people have no capability to rescue themselves, nobody expects God to come down. So, many religions have built a tower with thinking that they can rescue themselves without Jesus, and have dazzled people to train by themselves. However, no one of them received salvation. Their life was but an empty dream, and they show how much following the world is foolish.
Yes, the way of salvation is in Jesus, so he came down to the world. He had to not only come to this world, but become a sacrificial offering and shed blood as people in the Old Covenant offer a sacrifice of a sheep for their sins. Have you ever imagined about a looks of Jesus upon the cross? That was like a lamb on the altar.
, Before being crucified, his figure beaten by whips was more miserable. He went through sufferings of coming off a piece of his body. Why did he undergo such pains? The Bible says that it is because of our frailty or the diseased flesh. Jesus covered for our sufferings. If you are painful, ask of God. He already encountered the sufferings as a substitute of us.
Looking the figure of the Lord toward us, if we are sincere Christian, we have to can shoulder a burden of him. In other words, remembering the love of God for us, we must share the love with our neighbors. Have we made an effort for the salvation of our neighbors? Though our love is incomparable with one of Jesus, we ought to share it, even our life. It is due to for people following the Lord to have his love together.
