Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: (1 Peter 2:22)

There is no need to say that the nature of Jesus is one that we must have, so it may the truth Christians take for granted that we have to live a holy life like him. Then, how did he display his divine nature?

First of all, he is saying that he did no sin. Of course, this sin can be perpetrated among people, but it is saying that he never do a conscienceless act. Jesus Christ was God, but he never misuse the true, and he lived a prudent life because he had a body. If you are a Christian who follows a Christ’s example, it is natural to live a life having nothing to do with a sin. We can say that such person is who live having a mind of Christ.

Another nature of Jesus is that it was no guile found in his mouth. Having no guile in one’s mouth means no lie. In other words, it means that there is no untruth for a profit of oneself. Yes, Jesus never holds himself in reverence for catching the fancy of people or jerks around people with telling a lie. On the contrary, people misunderstood him, and make themselves be caught in a trap. For example, Jesus said that he will be killed off, and emphasized that only so, the salvation plan of God can be completed. However, his disciples didn’t hang onto these words, and didn’t recognize his death. They were looking at Jesus with their point of view. Jesus said only truth. That is the most basic nature of Jesus.

The devil, the father of lies, is a existence dazzling people. If a Christian is telling a lie, he still doesn’t free himself from the influence of the devil. A Christian who has the nature of Jesus certainly must tell the truth, because it is an act only a person who is like the mind of Jesus can do. People think that proper lie can be permitted, so they take advantage of someone and fatten themselves. However, we must remember the fact that the Lord don’t permit such life of Christian be born again. Remember that Christian who lives always in the truth is the picture the Lord want for us.
