For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator. (1 Peter 4: 17-19)

All people in the world must prepare for the judgment to come, because we will not stay here forever. We cannot know if we receive a reward or a punishment after the judgment, but it is obvious that we are judged in the presence of God.

Some Christian say that everything is over after salvation, take satisfaction in the fact, and don’t hope any more. However, they have to know one thing; they will be judged by God, too. Generally speaking, when a man commits a crime and stand at the bar, his all crimes are become known in very case. Like this, all people cannot help avoiding the moment they must explain their all sins. Though he is a sincere Christian, he can never turn away from it.

Nonetheless, Christians wait with a long neck for the judgment, because they are sure of their salvation and they will be compensated in the place. Then, what kind of person will be compensated? As we know well, reparation is different from gift. Christians have received many gifts from the Lord, but reparation can’t be got for nothing.

Can we be compensated only by believing Jesus Christ? The answer is ‘no’, because reparation demand a corresponding action. Everywhere we can get more fruits if we make efforts; in school, work place, etc. Compensation is a same thing. God gives us gifts which is a mean of our reparation, so we should prepare the Day of Judgment. The Bible expresses us as persons who go through sufferings according to the will of God. It means that this ways is never easy, but I hope you live a meaningful life with gifts given from the Lord.
